Press Release

TOPCAR Porsche Panamera Stingray, which made its debut at the renowned supercars fair Top Marques Monaco 2010 in April, has been in great demand at present. To maintain the highest workmanship standards and excellent quality of the products all our car performance packages are worked out to the last detail.

Being aimed to a perfect result TOPCAR specialists help the customers in searching that unique but recognizable and inimitable appearance of their cars trying to incarnate a vision in a car and to create the most entire reflection of the personality of the car owner.

To prove the fact the Porsche Panamera appearance by TOPCAR will be available in three editions. Three distinct cars have got three distinct natures.

Black Matt Edition

The car obtains menacing appearance. Even at first glance you can't give up the idea that its matte finish and the invasive lines have adopted an uncanny resemblance to invisible fighter jet. A lower clearance and matte finish make possible to achieve the analogy.

To highlight the main shape-generating lines some elements are painted gloss black: the front lip spoiler, front bumper inserts, ventilation ‘gills' on the bonnet, front fender scoops, side skirts, window trims, both rear wings, the tailgate trim and rear bumper diffuser. Tanned rear lights and black housing headlights give the concluding chord of the strong shape. To make the inner world sing in harmony TOPCAR offers the masterly hand crafted leather interior of the ideal quality.

White Edition

The newborn Panamera has obtained astonishing lines full of grace and dignity for its new appearance. The leading principle of this car is to sing along to its wealthy and self-satisfied sole owner. The car remains distinctive at any time of day or night and in any weather conditions. To emphasize the white gloriole some car trim parts were painted black.

TOPCAR also recommends a set of specially designed and produced black multi-part rims (R21) with the white lip. The white leather interior allied to the exciting design make the ‘Panamera in White' truly unforgettable.

Carbon Grey Edition

It is a fascinating driving machine and the sporty pinnacle of the TOPCAR brand.

The car embodied some player personality traits: gorgeous looks, fearsome performance, racing success and (relative) civility on the road. The car itself painted Carbon Grey and its new dressing mostly made of Visible Carbon Fiber: the front lip spoiler, front bumper inserts, the bonnet, front fender scoops, side skirts, window trims, both rear wings, the tailgate trim and rear bumper diffuser.

The interior is embellished with Visible Carbon Fiber interior parts: the steering wheel trim and paddle, dash and center console trims, door trims etc.

The matched Nappa leather interior decorated with fancy stitches and welt cords combines comfort and style, with incredible practicality.

TOPCAR also provides a set of specially designed and produced multi-part rims (R21).

In order to achieve better performance the new Porsche Panamera engine will be juiced up and get an output from 550 to 750 hp.

These three fresh cars are aiming to deliver driving excitement, stylish and innovative design. TOPCAR's vehicles have been designed to cater for the various and varied demands of modern day drivers.

The demand for TOPCAR's products from all over the world keeps growing and it is now possible to see the renovated cars on the roads of Monaco, Germany and Switzerland.

2010 New Lotus Sports Cars Exige S240

British performance sports car manufacturer Lotus has officially unveiled their 2010 Lotus Exige S240.  While Lotus fans will recognize this as a very subtle update, the grille and rear wing facelift is a step forward for the mark. The exciting new 2010 Lotus Exige S240 enters the United States and Canadian markets in the fall of 2009 with new front styling, a new rear wing and the same rare combination of exceptional performance and high efficiency.
2010 New Lotus Sports Cars Exige S240
The Lotus Exige S240 features a roof integrated air intake scoop feeds air through the air-to-air intercooled and supercharged 1.8 liter Lotus-tuned and Toyota-sourced 2ZZ-GE engine with Intelligent Variable Valve Timing (VVT-i) to provide 240hp at 8,000 rpm and 170 ft.-lbs. of torque at 5,500.
The 2010 Lotus Exige S240 sprints to 60 mph in a blistering 4.1 seconds and the 100 mph barrier sails by in approximately 10 seconds with top speed is 150 mph. The Lotus Exige S240 is equipped with a 6-speed transaxle synchromesh transmission, traction control and launch control. New for 2010, the optional Track Package will include adjustable Ohlins dampers with threaded spring perches and remote oil reservoirs front and rear.
The Lotus Exige is a renowned high performance coupe that has a well earned reputation as the choice for drivers who demand uncompromised performance, both on the road and on the track. The 2010 Exige S240 introduces a few key enhancements to update the appearance and improve aerodynamic performance. A restyled front end and new larger, low drag rear wing, not only reduces drag, but also gives a more muscular stance enhancing the lightweight shrink-wrapped look of the whole car.
Passing along lessons learned on the track with the Exige GT3 racing program, Lotus Sport Cars has contributed another important technology – variable launch control combined with variable traction control. The launch control allows the driver to determine the number of revs they wish to use during a standing start. Having programmed that limit, the driver then holds their foot down fully on the throttle pedal and sidesteps the clutch pedal for a very quick departure from the line. The clutch damper cushions the severity of the clutch to transmission engagement to minimize the stresses to the drivetrain. The launch control also keeps wheel-spin at bay until 6 mph, after which the traction control assumes its duties.
Like all Lotus cars, the functional components of the car are also beautifully designed as Russell Carr, Chief of Lotus Design, explains, "For 2010 we have taken the already visually extreme Exige and given it even more visual drama. The changes we have integrated to the front and rear of the Exige signal an even clearer and purposeful intent. The functional rear wing is race-inspired, the new angular air intakes and full width splitter give a more hard-edged and aggressive look. Overall, the Exige appears more planted and gives the illusion that both the front and rear of the car are wider than they really are, yet without losing its agile and sleek character."
The new 2010 Lotus Exige S240 is scheduled to launch in the US and Canada in the Fall of 2009. This new 2010 Lotus Exige S240 goes on sale this fall with a starting price of $65,690 and will be available in an upgraded track package with added performance benefits. The 2010 Lotus Exige S240 will hit U.S. and Canadian markets this Autumn.

Jaguar Cars History

Founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, by two motorcycle enthusiasts, Sir William Lyons, William Walmsley, the SS Jaguar name first appeared on a 2.5 litre saloon in 1935, sports models of which were the SS 90 and SS 100.

The Jaguar name was given to the entire company in 1945 when the "SS" name was dropped due to its association with Germany's SS military organisation much publicised and in Britain greatly reviled during and following World War II.

Cash was short after the war and Jaguar sold to Rubery Owen the plant and premises of Motor Panels, a pressed steel body manufacturing company which had been acquired in the late 1930s when growth prospects had seemed more secure.

Nevertheless, Jaguar achieved relative commercial success with their early post war models: times were also tough for other Coventry based auto-makers and the company was able to buy from John Black's Standard Motor Company the plant on which Standard had built the six cylinder engines which, hitherto, they had been supplying to Jaguar.

Jaguar S-Type R supercharged

The supercharged S-Type R joined the lineup in 2002, and the hope was that it would compete with BMW's M5 and the Mercedes E55 AMG. The R was powered by the newly revised 4.2 Litre V8 with an Eaton M112 supercharger producing 400 hp (300 kW; 410 PS) and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.3 s (0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.6 s).

It included 18 in (457 mm) alloy wheels, wire-mesh grille and monochromatic paint. The R also has a rear apron, side-skirts, and front apron with built-in fog-lamps, a rear spoiler, a brace located near the rear subframe, and R badging on the boot lid and both front wings. It was the most expensive S-Type, with a base price of £50,040 in the UK (US$58,995 in the United States).
